Who will keep my website up to date?

You will; Distinctive Productions has never made a web site that the client was not able to update or that needed Distinctive Productions to update the content. We will make a clear indication with you on what should be dynamic within the website and provide you with the tools and training necessary to keep the information on your site fresh for your customers. What about the support options? You might ask. The support options are available for anything that goes beyond the scope of normal updates. For example if you need a section added to the site and you did not foresee the need for that section at the time that the site was designed or maybe you would like a color changed that cannot be done using the tools we provided, then the support options come in handy.

What makes a website good?

Up to date information – Distinctive Productions strongly believes that once a project is complete then the client (you) should be capable of making content changes to your site without the need or intervention of a Distinctive Productions employee. (See “Who will keep my website up to date?”)

A unique and appealing design – Everything in marketing is presentation, if two companies have two similar products with comparable or equal prices, chances are the customer will choose the company that did a better job presenting the product.

Easy navigation – your users should be able to find the information they need as quickly as possible.

How can I afford your services?

Web Sites:

The question should be “How can you not afford our services?” In this day and age your company should already be taking advantage of the web as a marketing tool. If you haven’t yet then now is the time and the company you choose to handle your internet marketing can break or save you and with Distinctive Productions, we have the skills necessary to make your site better then you competitors, with as little cost to you as possible. You may have noticed some of our competitors spend a lot of money on a large sales force. At Distinctive Productions we have cut out the cost of sales, because you will be meeting with our developers on a one on one basis to plan your project, which communicates into a higher savings for you, and less confusion by our developers.

Let’s say you have a process at your work that takes 5 steps to complete, the following is an example:

1. An employee “Chuck” fills out a form to make something happen. (5 min)
2. Chuck brings that form to a senior colleague “Beth” to be signed. (5 min)
3. Beth signs and approves that the action should be done then sends the form (5 min)
4. That form is brought to the person who would complete the action “Steve”. (5 min)
5. Steve reviews the form and completes the action (10 min).

Distinctive Productions can streamline your everyday process to make what was once a 5 step process that took 30 minutes to a 3 step process that takes a significantly lower amount of time like the following.

1. Check fills out the form online (1 min because most info is saved within the system)
2. Chucks form gets sent automatically to Beth (0 min)
3. Beth clicks an approve button (< 1 min)
4. That form automatically gets sent to Steve
5. Steve reviews the form and completes the action (10 min).

The process now only takes just over the amount of time that it takes the person to complete the action. Now let’s say this occurs 10 times a week. In the first example you are using 5 hours of man time to complete the cycle where in the second example you are using about an hour an a half. Will I see instant results?

Yes and No. The web is a tricky place and can take some time before you see a real advantage to your web presence if you are just now entering the market. On the other hand if you have cliental that normally go to a preexisting site or have an easy means to let your customers know that your site will be updated we are confident that you will be getting great feedback from your customers once your site goes online.
